The Corbett Collective (Corbett & Claude, Mr Claude, Tetto Rooftop bar) opened a new Comuna Cantina location in Brisbane City in 2020, located at the base of The Annex on the corner of Creek Street and Elizabeth Street. The iconic city corner is bustling with city workers from the neighbouring Eagle, Elizabeth, and Creek streets. The location enjoys a high level of foot traffic, especially around lunchtime and after 5 pm.

The venue is a larger format interpretation of the concept, which first opened on Albert Lane in 2016. The venue now occupies a sizeable 700-sqm of street-front space that extends into a colourful interior inspired by Mexican, Brazilian and Spanish design. The space is rendered in white stucco, reminiscent of Spanish-style homes. Wall niches provide a unique way to display terracotta pot plants and other miscellaneous trinkets. Stone tiling and concrete are juxtaposed with pale pinks, vibrant oranges, and green cacti. Booth style seating is finished with soft furnishings and pops of brass. Standalone tables in pale timber are accented with bold orange and seafoam green seats.

Comuna Cantina boasts eight unique spaces to inhabit, including the shaded alfresco area, several small laneway strips and the interior, which boasts a 15-metre long Corian bar that illuminates from within.

Comuna Cantina City is an energetic and lively addition to the inner city community, celebrating great food and drinks. The interior design and fit-out ensures patrons enjoy the sense of fun that Comuna Cantina is so well known for.
